1972 penny, looks funny to me idk

    The side of the rim Lincoln faces has a inside trench. Iv never seen anything like it.

    If the rim on the reverse looks normal, what you have is called a "Mis-aligned Die".

    Yes to Misaligned Die Strike. I bet the Reverse side is normal.

    Ditto. Misaligned die. Not dramatically misalinged enough to really be worth much of a premium, I'd imagine, but fun nonetheless. Enough to be noticeable, anyway.
