This is a 'found in rolls' Lincoln, 1972 DDO. Does anyone know which one? [Not a test, I do not know which one it is.] Thanks for any input.
Thanks, Jello. Any particular area that will help? I use the Digital Blue and can zero in on any area. Die #2, is that a good one?
I agree with #3 from the picture posted, could be wrong but would like to see more of the date. Check coppercoins.com. http://www.coppercoins.com/index.php And it is a nice find. Bill G

okay, please bear with me. I have three pieces, and I'll try to upload them, one piece per posting. Okay, here goes: [I thought that this was LC DDO-#002, along with the next one. But, now that I look the doubling on the IN is stonger on the next piece.]
which one? The first one? There are three different pieces. Hence, the three different postings. and, what is the rarity? Value? Grades: #1: XF-Au #2: AU-58 RB (little bit of red). #3: AU
Frank, don't forget to check the "marker photo" links (where available) for more photos. The '72 DDO varieties are numerous, but just be patient, and you'll find it. And, if not, maybe you've got an undiscovered variety. Wish I could help, but I'm multi-tasking enough, already. Have to scoot. Good luck!
