I have been collecting coins for years and honestly am still learning about error coins and other rare collectibles. I recently came across a 1972 "S" Lincoln Cent with a "bullet hole to the head", that I have never seen before and couldn't believe what I saw. It has several things that make it a rare coin. The attached pic shows the errors and I have not been able to find anything like it online and would like to know what you think and if you have seen anything like it? Thank You
well, since you are an admitted comedian, you know the answers to this. welcome, but you have to try harder.
All fingers point to PMD - Post Mint Damage By the way Lincoln was shot in the back of his head .. not the front
You said admitted comedian, at first i thought you said a committed comedian. Lol.. I was released.. Jk. What do you mean try harder? Please explain as I am looking for anything and everything to help? Any advice or information would greatly be appreciated. And thanks for the welcome. Thanks for having me.
First, welcome to the neighborhood, Joel! One thing you come to expect is that any coin that has been in circulation for 43 years is liable to acquire any number of odd-looking or coincidental marks labeled as PMD. Chris
I am a full time touring comedian. Perhaps you should go down to wal-mart and pick yourself up a sense of humor. Im sure yours would be by the douches.
And like my daughter once told me.... 'You just don't get it mom'... ummm... I don't get it. I have just come across a 1971 D Lincoln penny that's got what appears to be..."triple dye" errors on the face as well as the "bullet hole".
Sorry...i guess where I'm used to spelling it like that cuz I'm a "ryde or dye" kinda female but like no other female so I spell it different.
