I Found This 72 Penny The Other Day, On the Back Is Doubling, Anybody Know What This Penny May Be Worth, Also A 1966 Penny A ghost 6 Over The Last 6, Any Info Will Be Much apperciated. Thanks
1st penny, thats glue,it looks to have been glued to something,or another penny 2nd penny,I cant quite make it out.it looks pretty corroded.
caulk?? its some sort of glue type substance,I can see right through it,and it is not part of the coin, only on it,if you put that in acetone for 10min or so it would come right off.
Yeah, really... pretty harsh response considering these guys are trying to help you, but as to the cent, I have only gotten about 1000 just like it that have been glued to another cent and then later separated and they have the impression of the other coin in the adhesive... Since you don't have to worry about damaging a coin worth 1 cent, just grap a nail file and dig that stuff off... Save the acetone... And the '66 is so corroded that if that is a VDB above the second 6 I would still roll it and deposit it...
some people just really get it into there heart they have something special and when they ask to make sure and are wrong, they lash out..... that is why i hate giving people bad news and arguing with them. but really after looking at the picture for a few seconds i could tell it was a penny glued to another.
