Well I just won this and I am kind of happy. It would seem that ANACS has only graded 8 of these. The pictures are not that good but I think I have found that the DDO will be in a split serif. I know there are IKE folks on here that will know. I have now bookmarked two great IKE sites and have been looking but I was bidding on a penny so I have not got that deep yet. For $27 it was worth the risk, its MS64 and a variety! Does anyone know what exactly I should be looking for when I get it besides a split serif?
Light spread on center and lower points of W of WE and upp er serif of 1 of date. In other words, it's "relatively" minor.
Ah then, well still I am very happy with it. So not much of a premium for it then. I will wait to see if it is a type 1, 2, or 3. Learning a bit more on another forum. I will post better pictures when I have it in hand.
Well if it turns out to be an unattributed Type 2 then winner winner Chicken Dinner! Otherwise, a nice attributed variety for your collection. These are always nice to have around for comparison's.
And surprising! I knew it was a Type 2 when the bidding began but only paid about $85 for it off of eBay.
