I see doubling on 1972 but the color is weird and Mark is this toned? Thank you so much and have a goodnight...
Did you check to see if matched anything on the following sites? www.doubleddie.com www.varietyvista.com These are the first places you should check if you think you found a doubled die. I’m pretty sure others have recommended these sites to you. You should bookmark them if you haven’t already done so. Try asking “does this look like it could be WDDO-001” or “I checked variety vista and couldn’t find anything like it”. You’ve been here a while and have said you are trying to learn. The worst thing that can happen is you give the impression that you’re just posting anything that looks unusual and expecting members to all the work. Also look at www.error-ref.com This gives some good info on other types of errors. And this link http://coinauctionshelp.com/mintingprocesshistory.html#.XyK1epom7cv has some good information on the minting process.
I see where you are coming from. The "2" looks a bit weird, but on the other hand the "7" is pretty normal. Also, normally you should be able to see some doubling on the rest of the coin, for example on the word "LIBERTY". Which I don't see at all in your coin. Regarding the colour, I think there is some toning going on.
I find your photos have too much glare. I see, what appears to be doubling on the 9,7 & 2. Please rotate coin 90 degrees (date vertical and to right).
Hi sir good morning and thank you for your time... I will when I come home I’m in my work right now... have a wonderful day....
The only possible doubling I see on the coin is the date, but I cannot be sure. The 1 in the date shows no sign of doubling, at least using the photos offered.
Nice looking coin. I like the toning. It's a shame about that black spot under LIBERTY but don't be concerned about it. I see no doubling on the 1 and the 2 looks worn but no other wear nearby. Thst leads me to believe that it took a hit and had been flattened but it still shows signs of doubling as do the 9 and the 7. @Oldhoopster provided two web sites for you to check out. Please do so and have a great day.
hi sir, I will read later I feel embarrassed to him his been very helpful too and until now I can’t figured it out. I have more 1972 toned like this I will give it to you as a souvenir since your very nice to me. I don’t really like the color . I like the woody it’s cute to my eyes lol . thank you so much sir for everything.
It says no doubling on date. But I also had 1982 the reason I wanna ask because the number 9 and the mint mark if it’s Rpm I cannot find match on this.
Marites, you are all over the place with your photos. Pick one and eliminate it then go to the next one in a new thread. Example: In the thread title, you state 1972 D, the pic is of a 1972 S.
hi sir sorry I come home late here’s the new pictures. I hope that’s clear enough. Let me know if you need more.. thank you so much...
Your pic's are fine but to many of them narrow them and choose the best few to post. It will save you and other CT's a lot of time. Good luck
I really like the color of that Cent but I'm wondering if it's all natural. It looks like itcwas treated with something due to the toning patterns. Nevertheless, I like it.
Hi sir good evening. I have lots of weird and different colors. Ready to get rid of all of these I get tired lol hugs
