Hey everyone, I have a few 1972 D no FGs that I wanted to send off to get graded. However, eBay has some listed for cheap (ungraded) but PCGS still has them worth a couple hundred or more depending on grade. But nothing sold recently. on Heritage Auctions the most recent one sold was in 2017 I believe for about $400. Any one have any thoughts on this? thanks!
Looks like if they grade well it may be worth a shot. Don't expect much for raw ones. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fr...+no+fg&_sacat=0&rt=nc&LH_Sold=1&LH_Complete=1
In order to help you please post clear pictures of the front and rear of the coins with excess background cropped.
We need photos to help but it could be a grease filled die. If so, it would be a waste of money to grade them.
Only if they're pretty good condition (ms 50+ as 50+ is recommended at $285+ and at MS 66 it's $4500), so unless you're certain it's a ms 50+ don't
