Also, the letters in MONTICELLO look different... for example the “M-O” look shorter than the following letters to me... maybe I’m wrong.

    That sucker was struck with a worn die. Look at all the orange peel effect going on.

    Very Late Die Stage. Flat eye socket, Missing hair ribbon, Orange peel texture...
    And still worth as much as day it came out of the mint.

    First it was struck with extremely worn Die. Secondly, it has seen plenty of circulation and has the damage to show it.
