1972 D Missing "L" in Liberty Error Cent

    Hey guys a friend of mine found this in his change and gave it to me to do a little more research on.

    Any idea of what type of error this is? Could it be a filled die or polished die? Any comments will be greatly appreciated. And can anyone help determine a value on an error like this.

    Weak strike maybe, worn die. The letters of IGWT are a little thin as well.

    Howzit i came across da same thing L in liberty is faint and i noticed the "e" in god we trust is differnt ,is this errors worth alot..

    greased filled die. Same as a few that I have also.

    I agree it appears to be greased filled with a slight MAD IMO

    It would be better for you to open your own thread, also be sure to post a pic of both sides of coin.
