I found a stash of IKE dollars and think that I have found a "peg leg" IKE and would like to get an idea of the value.

The coin is a 1972-D with the bottom serif of the R in Liberty missing.

Any input or suggestions on where to look would be appreciated.

The variety is not listed in Cherrypickers Guide.

    can you post pics?

at first guess, it could be where the die was filled with 'junk' and caused the R to not be fully struck ...

    pics would help!!!!

Well, it may be the collector's description, PCGS dosen't list it on the label.

I am more concerned that this is not listed in the Cherrypicker's guide than the lack of designation on the holder. I think PCGS is cautious about putting designations on the holders (VAM etc.)
