This is at the rim and it's my understanding that we can call this a Cud. Or is it just a die chip/going? Found it CRH today! If it is so than it will be my first one! Just guessing here @Rick Stachowski but what makes this a Retained Cud is the fact that it's inside the rim?

A retained cud is where the eventual cuds breaks loose of the die. But it hasn't separated from the die face. I see what Rick sees and that is there is definition still in the E R. Also it seems as though the cud has not broken through the rim above the I, but this could be from wear I guess.

    Cool find!
