Lincoln has his eye shut. I know not an error tha ts why I didn't put it in the error coins. But could someone tell me why it looks this way? RoundPhoto_Aug072018_090135.png RoundPhoto_Aug072018_090200.png CM180806-163615003.jpg CM180806-163600002.jpg

An error happens at the mint. Damage happens after. Not an error.
If this happened at the mint it would have to be on the die that minted this coin, and there would be hundreds of thousands of others of "winkin' Lincolns".

Notice all of the dings/gouges/marks in the fields and on Lincoln's face and shoulder? You're just seeing another mark that happens to be on the eye

Then don't disregard damage … *any* damage.
If there's some then you have to consider it in anything that doesn't look "normal".

If you have a 100% pristine NO damage coin with an "oddity", then you may have something.

Damaged as stated but I think that since Abe has had his eyes opened since 1909 he's a wee bit tired and closed them for a second and that's when this coin was minted. :)
