varietyvista poops out after 008, anybody have an image what is supposed to be 014? this looks like the back of a 1995.
Looks more like 006. On the 007, the leaf in front of the arrows is much rounder. Also, I think the doubling is toward the center. That looks like MD. Check the inner edges of the wings. If they are not very strong, its an 006
Right now I am having a hard time seeing the devices as non-incusive Here are wings the best I could get the detail, that shadows might make the photo a bit more detailed than life. I am not sure what to compare it to. Are these strong or not very? I agree this coin has some MD on it as well which makes comparing the Q almost futile.
The markers that will help you attribute these quarters were discussed in detail about 4 years ago by Proofartoncircs et al. in this thread: http://www.cointalk.com/threads/1970-p-and-1972-d-washington-quarters-type-m-rev-rdv-007.130083/ or do a google search for "The first 1970 D reverse pictured is the special proof design..." A similar discussion was held on "Brand X" web site. The pictures associated with these discuassions will show you the wings. Once you see them, you will see that there is not much room for mistakes. If I recall correctly, the wings on the 007's and 008's will "catch a fingernail" or something similar.
