Reading all, can't find a DDR on variety Vista. This 1971 s has a lot of issues especially on the reverse. Is this a DDR and where can I find it. Also look at the seven in the date what do you think? IMG_20221207_112441833_HDR.jpg IMG_20221207_111209377.jpg IMG_20221207_111229292.jpg IMG_20221207_111217960_HDR.jpg

These are difficult photos to sort out. Can you get more focused photos/images?

On a quick look at Coppercoins, there doesn't appear to be DDO/DDR for the date/mm.

In hand, you are better at determining what is going on with your coin, as it is really difficult with the photos you've posted, not that they are bad, just not definitive enough.

It's not doubling if it takes away from the design. You have a coin struck by a worn die

I zoomed in as best I could and I would agree with @enamel7 .

I'm always looking for ways to improve my pictures. Anybody got any ideas I just have a camera phone it's a moto. Speaking of worn dies, when do they break? They got to be worn before they break correct? Isn't there some kind of quality control that when they see this happening they fix it. I would think so. Thanks again

From what I can see the date took a two small hits but the coin itself was struck from worn dies.
