1971-P Lincoln Cent DDO..?

    I found this BU cent coin hunting... I believe it's a Doubled Die Obverse error, but would like input and if so would be curious to hear what you think it's worth. image.jpg

    I am always inclined to believe the others. There is one similar to this listed on Wexlers which you can look at and see if any of the die markers match up. For instance they show die scratches in specific areas that should match up with your coin. It is called Wexler's Coin and Die Varities .

    There is also a section (doubleddie.com) that both shows and explains the different types of doubling. Being able to identify the individual types is a better first step than trying to match markers.
