Some of you might remember when I claimed I found this over a year ago in bank rolls.
( since a few said most likely impossible I did )
I had it graded and got the bad news Yesterday.

    MS 60 - Cleaned. ( I did not clean it )

The cleaned designation is bad news, but the fact that it is what it is, and considering how you got it, should make things much better!

sucks about the cleaning, but not really bad news, all things considering...

I think the fact that you got validation that it was indeed a DDO is awesome. I read your original post from 06/2009 when you were still new to CT. http://www.cointalk.com/t58215/

Yeah.. Not bad for it only costing me One Cent. I actually have two now.. one has a slice up through the L in Liberty but it is the same
variety. I won't waste my time getting that one graded.

I could always crack it out of that ANACS case and send it for a second opinion too.

great find. to bad anacs calls it cleaned. of all the obvious problems coins can have "cleaned" has got to be one that can really bite a submitter in the *** sometimes.

It's still nice to know I have one of maybe 30 or so known examples. And I know I'll find another one...LOL
