1971 D Penny Is this dd

  1. 1971 D penny3.jpg Good morning to all,
    I see doubling in the "D" and in the numbering, please excuse the hair. Am I correct and is it worth anything?

    You would have to provide better images. If the MM and devices show the same type of doubling then it is Mechanical doubling or MD.
    This is not valuable.

    Hello. Mint marks in 1971 cannot be doubled die. They were hand punched into the working die during that time.
    Doubled Die varieties were created during the hubbing of the die. Which didn't include the mint mark until decades later.

Worry about premiums last. Most of the issues you will find in circulation have very little value or absolutely no premiums at all!
