1971 d nickel and 1971 kennedy half i belive cud on both?

why i ask i always seen only cud on lincoln cents i'm i wrong or right

Nickel is definitely a cud while the half appears to be struck thru a rim burr. Hard to tell for sure from the picture.

the nickel is listed as JNC-71D-1. A good find despite the condition.

 

thanks and yes it would have been better if it was in better shape but when it comes out of a roll from the bank i'm happy it's my first nickel cud thanks for the info
