1971-D Kennedy half dollar, Potential Error?

    on the obverse of the coin there is a piece of metal that is protruding from the back of his head. it is about the same level as his ear and then there is another small blob of metal by the "Y" in "LIBERTY". I am a bit new to coin collecting and do not have the most experience in finding errors, but i figured i would seek out some more experienced help. i don't hav high hopes for this one, but who knows.

    Looks like dried glue.
    That being said, you need to up your picture game. Properly focused, properly oriented pictures will be much appreciated around here. Makes it a lot easier for people to give accurate advice and not have to guess.

    Welcome.
    as @furryfrog02 said, It looks more like glue or some resin instead of metal. Also, try to crop your pictures to get rid of the backgrounds.

    I think the bottom line is we need you to be able to see (in your photos) what you would like us to see. :D
