1971-D dime with radial lines both sides

    Still going through dimes from recent CRH, working on the 70's at the moment. What would cause these radiating lines in the fields on both sides of this well-worn dime? Also, many of the devices are mushy, extremely so on the reverse, more than just from wear in my opinion. I would guess some form of die deterioration? I appreciate all feedback.

    Well..

    Your guess is correct. It is a Die Deterioration issue.
