    It took me a while to decide it looks real. I'd say a collector of Canadian errors would find that most interesting.

    I don't believe it is genuine. Too much of the "first strike" is preserved and there is too much blended overlap. I do see some of the sharp, intermittent interruption of "second strike" design elements that one expects to see in a genuine double strike. However, this can be duplicated with some of the better fakes.

    It looks interesting, but of course I have to be skeptical. By all means I hope it is real, so you should definitely have it authenticated!
