Do you agree with the Small Date Classification?
    Thanks.

Looks closer to a large date to me, but sharper focus would be more definitive, size is OK. Jim

This is the Large Date variety for comparison purposes.

The curl is a bit of a tweener. I am not seeing it. Is the point of the bottom of the 9, blunt or sharp?

LIBERTY is weak, the 7 is level with the other digits. Op's coin is a small date.

I'm in the large date camp after seeing the new picture. I never trust the "weak LIBERTY" diagnostic because wear can cause that appearance.

With this coin I see a lowish 7 and a not so tight curl on the 9. Kinda of agree with @Michael K with the "tweener" comment.

The new picture is a large date for comparison.
Go back to post #1 photo.
The weak LIBERTY in itself is not the best marker.
But the numbers (in post #1) do line up.
Need a clearer photo to examine the curl and the point of the 9 foot.
There was one other post about an SD tweener like this. It could be an SD variety.

I remember the other post too and I think some (was it V. Kurt?) were adamant about the weak LIBERTY diagnostic.

It's that the curl in the 9 doesn't appear to come past 45 that concerns me. The 7 and weak liberty seem good tho. If I was buying I wouldn't pull the trigger unless the curl was there.
