im still pretty new at this so if im wrong please correct me.i believe this is a die clash it has the memorial on the obverse or bars it looks like.if this is a die clash could someone give me a little info on them. are they scarce or easy to find, are they worth more than a cent or no,i guess what im trying to say is it worth keeping or just damage.thanks for looking
I would think it's a die clash looks like the memorial of the reverse I would like to see the reverse of the coin please The incused images are very visable i think they can be seen with the naked eye. the more extreme the die clash is the more demand there is for the coin . I would say yours is some what extreme, and can bring a premium just don't know exactly how much .I would keep it indeed because it's worth something ,and seems to be a nice example of a die clash. thanks for asking ,i did notice someting small on the reverse after looking again.heres the pics of reverse
Definately a die clash. these are sometimes called prison bar Lincolns for obvious reasons. Though not common they aren't "rare" either. they do sell for a premium. Richard
I do see the little incused images on the reverse i just don;t know what it is from the obverse. Yes it is a die clash . indeed jazz
