    Doesn't the 1 need to be level with the 7 to be a small date? and more even if not as even as the nine. But I always get excited when I find a 1970 s or a 1969 s..found a 69 s today...no doubling dang flabbit.....

    All large date. Not much more.

    Hi Bill, They all look like the large date variety. Notice the end of the loop of the "9" pointing more to bottom of "7" than the middle, and the bottom of the "0" is higher than the bottom of the "7", and compare yours to the examples on this page. Hope this helps.

    thanks for your help. another question. I really should be looking for (small dates)? I had a reply from someone when I posted another question and he asked me if i checked the (1960) for large or small dates. can you tell me what small or large dates I should look for? thanks again BILL
