1970 s second try better pictures somewhatntried to seperate them didnt work sorry

there are two 1970 s on here tried to separate them but couldnt get it done any knowledge would be appreciated r1 is one coin r2 the other

I don't see anything out of the ordinary, but you need to be more specific. Are you referring to the date or the mintmark? Is it a DDO that you think you see or an RPM?

NOTE: Each of your images is a separate file. Use the "Upload a File" to select them one at a time from your file, and repeat this process for each one. Once you have selected all of your "R1" images, select "Full Image" rather than "Thumbnail". Then, when you're ready to start a new thread, repeat this process for the "R2" images.

 

thank you that HELPS I THOUGHT THE R1 MIGHT BE AN RPM I THINK ITS A LG DATE AND COULD THE R2 BE A SMALL DATE

 

IT LOOKS LIKE THE 7 IN R2 IS A LITTLE HIGHER AND THE S IS A LOT MORE OPENED THAN R1 IS OR AT LEAST THAT IS WHAT THESE OLD EYES SEE

 

both are large dates...

sorry about that it want happen again. just wandering why so much difference in the openness or shape not sure of the proper term .of the S mint mark on the two coins and is it machine doubling on the top coin dd or an rpm and how do I tell the difference I have researched a lot but this coin looks like it has a number and letter on top of another how does one tell the difference sorry for all the question . im really trying to learn
