This is/was a pocket change 'find' if you will. Pretty good shape for being in the wild. Very new to this, although having fun reading and learning about it all (save for another time/thread). Did some reading, checked out the 'red book' and it gave me some questions which may as well be asked here as well as anywhere else. For the life of me, some of the varieties of DD's and such for the life of me I can't make out what it is they are seeing/looking at. This coin of mine for example. In the book it shows a variety (FS103? don't have book with me), where I literally cannot tell what is 'different' about the mint mark they are referring to. Not saying mine is one, but how would you even know?
its a regular large date, its not an FS103 witch is RPM yours may have a small die chip around the S, need a closer picture of your coin, but it does not appear to be an S/S, when you upload press the full size button next to the image .. ill get a photo for you to show what rpm looks like, they have different assignments depending on witch way the rpm goes. .
