Hey all! I've recently beome addicted to looking through my change for goodies,and I came across these 2 pennies. The "s" and the dates do not look to be the same,plus there looks to be some type of notching on the darker one. Does anyone out there know if either of these pennies are rare or have more than a .01 value?
I have no idea why you think the dates are different, but the mint marks were added by hand until 1985. They could literally wind up anywhere. There is no added value unless the MM wound up on another device. However, the are worth about 2.5¢ each because they are copper.
