large. Sometimes, when the photo is not straight on, it is hard to tell if it is a low 7 or a level 7. The better indication is the inside end of the loop of the 9. If it points at the middle of the 7 ( directly east) it is a small date. If it points to the bottom of the seven or even between the seven and the mint mark, it is a large date.
