Here is a neat 1970s penny and it is missing most the in god we trust, there is a little part of the letters at the top and the rest is filled. The date is very light also. I don't think it is anything of value but it is neat.
It looks to me like a filled die error, and yes, these types of errors have major value, to those who are willing to pay the amount, kind of like me, I paid around the area of 15 bucks for a 2 dollar coin, it was a bicentenial half dollar, uncirculated, on the reverse, it had struck through grease, on the right, and to the left to where it usually says " 200 Years of freedom" It's filled die makes it say " 200 ears of freedom"
