1970 S Penny DD

    Ok I believe I see doubling on this coin. The coin is in really good shape. If you can look and see if there is any then I can do the research. I just want to make there is DD.     For me I see some areas and it’s a keeper either way. But let the pros look at it.

    I have a couple that it was a little bit. On my thread I post all mine stuff lol… I have a 1971-S posted several months ago.

    Oh it is a keeper for sure, it is an S mint and it is in really good shape.

    A definite keeper but I’m afraid I’m not seeing it. It might be me with the way the day had gone. Wait for others to chime in.

    Sorry I do not see it. The mint mark is a little funky, but it is common in 1970S cents back when it was done by hand on each working die and usually hit more than once. They started to produce the MM on the master die in 1990 I believe. There does seem to be some machine doubling.

    I’m not seeing DDO either. But a fine LD 1970 S!
