Not enough pictures Looks like the Large Date to me I want to share this webpage with you - http://lincolncentresource.com/smalldates/1970Ssmalldate.html
Ty! It's doubled die to I believe. If it turns out it is what would the value be? Also be how much would a small date doubled die be worth? I know you see a lot of different prices online but should it be either large or small and a doubled die in the condition it's in what would each variety pay
Lol that's two now. Dang I was really starting to think small after staring at it for fifteen minutes lmao. Either way I guess I still found something pretty cool. The coin is black basically and doubled died pretty good. It's easy to see in person but with it being that dark contrast it's really hard to get the lighting right so it will show in a picture
Ummm.. where do you see DDO? I see a slight Misaligned Die Strike with a slight False Double Rim on the right side. Very minor error.
It's very hard for me to get a pic of it cause the coin is so dark. But the 0 is split in half with another 0 the 9 is just about as strong and the seven is as well for real. L I B are are doubled. In God we trust is all doubled as well. Most of which are all pretty much mirroring themselves. I'll try to get it to take a better pic of it
Not a doubled die. Not a small date. Value $.01 Flip into a wishing well and, wish for nice 1970 S small date doubled die.
Not a small date. Google it and you will find explanations for each and how to tell the difference. Not a doubled date either. Keep looking. There are still great finds to be made.
It's a large date, There is no way to tell if it is a Doubled die from your photos. It doesn't look like a DD. Match it up to one of these, Remember all the die markers must be there. http://varietyvista.com/01b LC Doubled Dies Vol 2/DDO 1970-S.htm
Keys to look for in the 1970-S small date. The curl of the 9 is bent around. In the large date it points down to the bottom of the 7. The point of the bottom of the 9 is sharp. In the large date is it blunt. LIBERTY will often be weakly struck on the small date.
