    Looks like a Large date to me. The 9 just doesn't curl in quite enough. Look at the comparison photo @Michael K posted. The difference is obvious.

    It is subtle. But with most of them being LD's, when you actually get one where the 9 curls all the way around, you can see it.
    Also, the point of the bottom of the 9 on the SD is pointy,
    on the LD it is blunt.

    It’s funny that everybody uses a different combination of PUPs to make their call.
    I use:
    1. Height of the seven
    2. Curl of the nine
    3. Slant down and to the left of the bottom alignment of the 970 for a large date
    With these “tells” I can call it even from poor images.
