1970 NICKEL HAS BEEN THROUGH SOME BAD TIMES

I didn't notice the problem this poor guy had until I dish soap washed the gunk off that
he had all over him!I think he may have caught some type of disease...And....I did that project...Not wearing any gloves....I hope I don't get what he had!!!!

Looks like a metal detecting find that caught a disease and suffered cosmic ray exposure. That coin has had a tough life.

First thing in the morning check to see if you still have fingers.

SensibleSal66, As soon as I see environmental Damage I will slap him, because that is really cruel what he did!!

 

A fire may do something like that Jersey magic man?....Guessing maybe that fell out of someones hand and landed in a roaring fireplace, or outside camping fire...And the guy probable thought, " well...I just lost a nickel cause I am not going to try and remove it now."...Can't blame him there...

I mean really, THANK YOU!!...Now I absolutely know where my nickel came from!!....OOHHH YEAH!!!....I am positive my nickel came out of that BIG GUY and I bet my nickel came out of that BIG GUY'S butt when he was in the process of releasing "stuff" from his rear end!! You know.....I should go look in the woods and try to find where this happened...I bet there is a whole pile of nickels like mine in a pile!!...OK! I'm gonna saddle up and git lookin!!
