I have a 1/2 of a 1970 mint set that I purchased online. It was just random coins and in that lot I got half of this mint set.

The coins are in pretty nice shape, is it worth it to take them out of the plastic and send them out to be graded??

    Thanks guys

Which half is it? Denver or Phila.

The Half in that set is what everyone wants. It's in the D set.

If you don't like the mint packaging, find yourself a nice 5 coin holder.

Sorry I cant take decent pictures with the plastic cellophane that the mint wraps the coins in.

They are in good condition I would say. Where do you think the grade point would be
where it wouldnt be worth it to get them graded?

If it is not 66 or better, I wouldn't bother.

Ok then I probably shouldnt bother, they are nice but not ms66 nice (I dont think).

Do you think it might be wise to put them in 2x2's?? I mean its only half of a mint set??

    Thanks

What are they in now ? I always preferred hard holders myself, Air-Tites. But 2x2's are better than nothing.

Right now they are in the original "crinkly" packaging from the mint.

The problem is its only half a set so I feel like its a waste just to keep them in the wrapping. The wrapping looks a little shoddy too. It is almost 40 years old!
