1970 mint mark hole?

    I knew it lol too weird to be true haha. I looked at it though and was hmm... a D on its back, sunk in. Lol. The puncher musta not like their job that day if this is an error lol

    It's not an error. It's just a damaged coin.

    Your first image shows a telltale sign of PMD the best. Note that the metal appears to be pushed up (crater effect) around the hole.

    Also, whenever I see an indentation on a coin, one of the first things I check is the same position on the opposite side to see if there is any damage. On your coin, that would be about 2 o'clock near the rim.
