ok I found this earlier in a roll I thought it was a 1970 WDDO-01. I noticed off hand it was MD but what caught my attention is Wexlers is a 1970S this is a 1970P but its the same exact one on Wexlers site but this one is MD. I was wondering how does two different mints have the same exact DD? also does this mean there is also 1970 WDDO-01 floating around since there is a 1970MD? the first two pictures are of Wexlers 1970S WDDO and the MD. If You scroll down a bit You see the 1970S http://doubleddie.com/144822.html
I'm kind of confused by the post. The coin you have is mechanical doubling, and the second picture on Wexler's site (below the image of the WDDO-001) is also of MD. Mechanical doubling really ran rampant 1968-1972, and it is not unusual to find 2 examples from this time period from different mints that exhibit very similar mechanical doubling.
