1970 Lincoln cent small or large?

    Looks Large.

    The '9' points down, and the '7' is below the '0'.

    I have got to have better pictures to see for sure, but my first guess is that is a small date. I do not see the notch in the 7 and the tail of the nine looks like the more curved variety. If you cannot get better pictures, look here - http://www.cointalk.com/t93080/. It covers everything needed and then some.

    If you cannot get any bigger pictures, look at that thread I pointed you to. There are pictures galore in there to compare it to.
