Yeah another 1970 d got a bunch off these coins last night pretty much a hole roll off them. This coin was a little hard to take a picture off I done the best I could considered were it was so I hope you can make this coin out Guy's.
It takes a little while to master coin photography, but do a Search here on photography tips. Using a flat backing like you did here is a good step and keeps the focus on the coin and not a busy background. Steady your phone's camera using a heavier object, perhaps a tall drink glass where you can put the phone on it while setting a proper focal distance. You may need to check your cupboard for the most optimal glass. Crop your photo in the phone's viewer to minimize editing later. Use a couple light sources to minimize shadow and glare by diffusing the light. And have fun experimenting. It takes a little practice, but it'll come to you. Good luck!!
