1970 d spikehead nickel

    hey guys, can you tell me if this is a spikehead nickel, it has two die cracks, one on the reverse to the south of the Monticello and one on the obverse on the bust to the south, but looks like it has double imprints on some of it, if you would, please let me know what you think, I haven't seen too many of these to actually tell, thanks.

    They look like scratches to me but it would be cool to see images of the whole coin. Nice macro images.

    Scratches. A die break/crack would be raised.

    so are they raised on the outsides of the cracks? but dipped in in the middle ?
