1970 D Penny

    I hope I posted this in the right topic to ask a question. On the reverse side, it seems no there is no "FG". What do you all think? I could be wrong which is why I posted it. I'd like to know you all's opinion.

    Why does it look like the FG is there in the first 2 reverse pics? But gone in the last 3 close ups!

    That's why I posted & asked you all for your opinions before I put it back in my coin jar. Seemed like it was messing with my eyes. Lol.

    Mostly polished off. Not a mint error. It's rather common. As the die wears, they polish it to give it more life. Eventually, as the field is polished more and more, ti gets to the level of the bottom of the FG.

    Pennys come from England and Australia, we have Cents here.

    Plural (more than one): Pennies

    Aside from the lack of correct spelling... I agree, who gives a damn what it called, "cents", "pennys"???, or "pennies".... all means the exact same thing
