I'm not a Coin Aficionado unfortunately. Though I'm in correct thinking. As I study my coins I can tell the difference
from a coin torn and battered from circulation and mint damage.
THIS COIN WAS NOT CREATED BY ANY CIRCULATION wear and tear.
If SOME continue to ignore these facts ..i
I question deeply the integrity of all the information I have been receiving in recent past.....

I won't argue. However, please give me a description of the mint process that would result in the condition. Thanks.

Are you serious? This coin is very clearly just badly damaged, horribly scraped and gouged.

I agree. But the OP needs to describe how it could happen in the mint process.

Sorry, I wasn't questioning you! I just can't believe the original poster could possibly think this one is anything but damage. I agree completely, if someone thinks something is an error then they need to have some idea how it could have happened.

I agree the coin was not created by wear and tear through the normal channels of coin circulation. It was created in a WalMart parking lot with hundreds of cars running over it. It's ok to admit you found it in the parking lot. A lot of us walk with our head down. I found a $5 bill one time in the parking lot.

SO Lincoln cent with reverse stamped on the front is not a mint error OK. IF you had this Lincoln 1979 D
it would become mint error and worth a giant size premium i see
    You tell me remember?
you cant this is beyond your understanding it seems..explain how the reverse design is struck over
Lincoln you cannot see the patterns are you folks serious? ..this is a TRIP with some of you folks on this
    kind of deceitful format.
