1970 D Date variety?

    I have posted this penny before for a"Lincoln Behind Bars". It has this lightly and a weird spot that looks like a "D" above the date. Looking at it again, I noticed the marks around the date. What do you guys think? If you want the old pics I will post them, if you think it will help.

    That looks like a small die chip on the numeral '7'; a neat find but no added value.
