I believe I have better pics for this one. If it is a die clash I can't make out what is struck on the date. If it is a clash at all????? Thanks everyone.
I don't see a clash. If there was a clash on the date, it would have to come from the reverse die in the area near "STATES OF". I think you are trying too hard to find something wrong.
Thanks cpm9ball. There is so much PMD and looks like die deteriorating it makes it difficult to see. I hope pics show it. If not I will take more until I get it.
There is no die deterioration. The coin is just heavily worn from circulation. Why are you posting images of the reverse? It's a good thing that cameras don't use roll film any more. Otherwise, you would be wasting a lot of money getting these images developed.
