I'm not so sure about this one. Something doesn't look right. There doesn't seem to be any rim present. It looks rounded off. Maybe Mike Diamond will chime in. Errors are not my specialty.

I have found that as I take pics of my coins, the light works better over here than there, as on the arm of my easy boy, maybe--- take it at face value--we can all learn
Sweet error, could it be a strike through grease or some other type material? Just an extra thought. Is the obverse capped it looks only to be a bit.
Not an expert, just my thoughts: I do not think it is a struck through die cap. If so, the hammer & anvil dies would have to have been backwards. What does the edge look like. Is it possible this could be an actual die cap itself. Every example I've seen of a die cap is extremely cupped. What happens if the cap only strikes one or a couple of coins?
