    Good afternoon Coin Talk Community.
Could I PLZ get some opinions on this 1969s Penny... Sorry pics are. Not to good with my phone, but hopefully you'll be able to see them... I am about to take some pics with my coin magnifying camera for better close up images. But I wanted to post some pics of the coin itself and get some feedback... Thank you all..
P.s. All pics are of same cpin except some with camera light on n some off... Also did one with that black n white effect.. Thanks

Yep! It's a penny, all right, and when I enlarge it, it is nice and blurry. But, a DDO? I don't think so.....times ten!

Pics not that great but no, not the one that many look for. The doubling would stand out on it's own even without good pics.

That's okay. You don't need to go any further.

Unless it looks like this one, it's not worth much. http://doubleddie.com/314201.html
You're just wasting your time sending better photos but it's your time so please do whatever you want to.

Yeah still no though. The 69s everybody looks for is quite boldly doubled. It's crazy sick looking (as in Thomas's photo from doubleeddie above).

It's not the Doubled Die 1969 S cent but it's a nice addition to your set if you collect Lincolns.

@Jj Oliva, we need more pics to be able to tell for sure.

Seriously though, 2 things for you to do/consider:

    (1) If at first you don't have decent pictures, then wait until you do have decent pictures to post. (Read: If you don't have the time to do it right the first time, where do you find the time to do it over?...well, unless you're in prison, then I suppose you have all kinds of time...:D;))

    (2) You should have stopped as soon as you saw Thomas' post, #6 - that & only that is the DDO.

Look, we really want to help you, but you have to help us help you.

    Good luck in your searches!

Not the famous (infamous?) 1969-S doubled die. All of the sources I have read believe that there about 30 known specimens (according to PCGS). If it were one of the WDDO-001 coins the doubling would be quite obvious as Thomas and others have noted above. Sorry this one is not "the one".
