1969d no FG

    image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg I think I have a 1969d no FG , what's your opinion? Also is this what people refer to as "floating roof "

    Interesting! I am guessing the initials were clogged out. I never heard of a "floating roof", so I can't help you there. Sorry.

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

    Floating roof is caused by an over polished die.
    Over polishing also causes the loss of the FG.

    I thought there were 2 types of 69d's ...the missing FG ,due to over polishing & no FG due to a die mistake and never got engraved into the die. Or have I been misinformed? BTW is floating roof a recognized error with grading companies?
