I found a measly old 1988D RDV and I'm proud of it. If I never find another, I can say I at least found one.
Cool. Can we see a picture of it? All I see is a picture of a worn coin. What is an RDV, anyway? I ask because the acronym sounds familiar and if it's a vehicle I think I may have driven one once.
If you look at the GF you will see it is thicker and closer to the side of the building than the others from 88, . This is the reverse of 89 and the obverse of 88. It's also wide Am , although they don't use the CLAM, or WAM, until 92 I think is the right year but it is still a reverse die variety.
Yeah, that's right, all those '88 AMs were wide. I'll take your word on the FG, I guess. That closeness makes it an '89 reverse, and there's the variation. That explains it.
