1969 S off center punch?

    what do you all think, look at the left edge. and to the rightof the chin, die crack?

    Joey,
    Is it like that on both sides? If not then it would be a mis-aligned die. Off center strikes will affect both sides.

    miss aligned die it is, is this common or should I hold onto it?

    10,000 to 1 it is a misaligned die. It's a very common error from the late 1960's through the mid 1970's on the Lincoln cent.

    And it looks like post mint damage to the right of the chin. It's worth a penny, but a date set (or even a set from a 10 year span) of the misaligned dies would be reallly cool.

    It's a MAD, not worth a premium as these are very common.
