    776000B6-1125-4019-AA14-A9B77761DDD4.jpeg hi,my name is john / im new at coin hunting. ive found 1969 s and also 1969 d. im going to try and post close up pics; would anybody be able to tell if the s is the kind or not? i appreciate any help. thankyou

    The 1969 D was minted at the Denver Mint

    The 1969 S was minted at the San Francisco Mint

    Yes they are both real. Billions were minted that year.

    For the 1969 S there was a variety struck called a Doubled Die. Which unfortunately you don't have.
    It looks just like this -
