Dreaming. The doubling is flat and shelf like. Both the date and mint mark show doubling. The MM was punched into the working die by hand, so if it were a DD, it would not show doubling on both.
As Steven Says.. Dream On. I see these alot, and generally have to go into detail on why Mikes sold for $126,000 and this one is one worth one cent.. gets old after a while but its all part of the education. Better to ask and know then to just toss something...
Well this one and previous image I posted are in my house! Notice the white leather??? The scratch above the 6??? Apology accepted.
And like I said, there has to be more in circulation! Don't let guys like jay discourage you!!! Keep searching.
The first image you posted was not the best image so I ignored it. When I meant the "real deal" it was intended to show an example of the Doubled Die in question so that BonnieSue can use it as reference. And.. I HATE WHITE LEATHER!
I'm not trying to discourage anyone, and I never said there weren't some left in circulation. I simply said yours wasn't it. Look at Liberty on yours & compare to the REAL one posted. It's not even close. White leather doesn't make normal coins doubled dies. Oh, and don't accept my apology. I didn't send you one.
